The thing I've noticed is that he really like the classic era and I think he tried pushing the classic into the modern with daleks all the time the outer of the tardis, flux long part story & the doctor regenerating out of the tardis. That's why I think people didn't like it because doing classic who thing in new who makes doctor who very different
